Carving Pumpkins

We carved a pumpkin right before Halloween. Dylan and Blake designed the cute little pumpkin face :) Blake was very uninterested in helping clean the "guts" out this year!

Time to Do an UPDATE!!

Ok, so I know it's been a while. Hey, work is busy, Blake is busy, LIFE is just BUSY! We don't have very many spare moments in the day anymore.

In October Dylan won tickets to the KU/KSU football game. It was a very uneventful game...KU got blown out, but it was fun for Blake. He loves football. I took half a day of leave to go to the game and we still barely made it there on time with all of the traffic! I wish we had gotten there earlier so that Blake could have walked around a little more to see some of the sights. He was very good, his only two "incidents" were shaking a pom pom too hard and it flew into a lady's hair, and he yelled "GOOOO FOOTBALL!!" really loud during an extremely quiet moment in the crowd. He was cute and we were so grateful that Daddy won the tickets!

Maddie's 2nd Bday June 2010

To celebrate Maddie's 2nd birthday we went to the downtown park and played in the fountains. All of the kids had a great time and got nice and wet! It was very hot that day, so it was the perfect day for a water party! Happy 2nd Bday Maddie!!! PS Maddie I have a really cute shot of you I can't get to load...I'll email it to your Mommy!

Memorial Day

We got into Tanganyika Wildlife Park free because Dylan is a soldier over Memorial Day weekend. What a cool place!! Blake got to feed and pet several animals...his favorite was the bunnies (go figure!). We went with Dylan's boss and family and some other soldiers in his batallion. I was really impressed and am looking forward to going back again when B is a bit older. He had a lot of fun and of course called everything a "doggie." I'm fairly sure I was more terrified of the animals than he was....maybe the animals were more terrified of him than anything!! He has NO fear!!

Swimming Lessons!!

The whole month of April Blake took swimming lessons on Saturday mornings. He REALLY enjoyed his lessons. I only went to two lessons with Blake and he didn't seem to do nearly as well with me as he did with his Dad. Dylan did a really good job of making him feel secure and having fun with him. Blake loved all of the attention he got from the other people and kids!! He was by far the biggest kid in the class, so he was able to do most of the "tricks" :).

Easter 2010

I know this is all VERY late...but, here are a few shots from Easter this year. We went to church, my Grandparents,Granny', and my Aunt Debbie's houses. Dylan had to play baseball...it was their season opener....so, he met us at Granny's house at the end of the day. Blake didn't mind finding eggs, but didn't see much point in it. He'd rather throw them than put them in a basket! He'll get his parents competitive spirit soon~ on a good note, we had A LOT of kids at Sunday service, so Blake got to experience what church was like when we were little kids. Most Sunday's he is one of the only children and he has certainly gotten spoiled by all of the people at church. Last Sunday after children's time he waved to everyone the whole way down the isle....what a ham!

Blake at the Park March 2010

When the weather got warmer...sometime in early March we took Blake to the park. He loved the slides and swings. He's gotten MUCH better since then and is now able to do EVERYTHING on his own!! He's my Mr. Indpendent! He loves his time with his Daddy!
